While clicking away your camera to take images of the wild animals and scenic environment is the order of the day during a safari in Kenya, due care should be taken when taking pictures of Kenya’s peoples.

Always request for permission to take photographs of Kenyans as it is frowned on if you take a person’s photo without his/her consent. It is advised also to avoid taking photos of government vital installations and other buildings.

Note: Taking pictures of minors (young children) in Kenya without an adult’s consent may land you in problems. This is especially due to misuse of such photos by unscrupulous people.

There are duty free shops at Kenya’s two international airports in Nairobi and Mombasa. More information which you may need to know about before you depart from Kenya is available from www.kenyaairports.co.ke
